Product Description
1. Characteristics

The 130B is a specialized shuttle-type wire mesh weaving machine. Its most notable mechanical feature is the dual-rod beat-up structure. It is specifically engineered to weave various metal wires into required mesh counts while maintaining a highly compact weave and a flat, smooth mesh surface.

2. Advantages
  • Automation & Safety: The machine features an automatic warp feeding system and an intelligent self-inspection system. If a warp or weft wire breaks, the machine will automatically detect the fault and stop, preventing further defects.
  • Stability: It is designed with highly stable mechanical performance to ensure continuous and reliable operation.
  • Material Versatility: It can process a wide variety of materials, including galvanized wire, stainless steel wire, iron wire, plastic wire, and PVC wire.
3. Applications

The 130B series is primarily used to produce specific types of wire mesh. Its main applications include:

  • Window screen weaving machines: For producing stainless steel, iron, or galvanized window screens.
  • Black wire cloth weaving machines: For weaving oil-coated iron wires into black wire cloth.
  • Crimped wire mesh machines: For processing heavy-duty wires (ranging from 0.4mm to 14mm) using a "crimp first, weave later" or "crimp and weave simultaneously" method.
  • Note: The finished mesh products produced by this machine typically feature wrapped/selvedge edges.
4. Technology & Principles

The core principle of the 130B machine relies on its dual-rod beat-up mechanism. This structure firmly pushes the weft wire into place after each insertion, ensuring the woven mesh remains tightly packed and perfectly flat. The automatic warp feeding and break-detection systems rely on mechanical sensing linked to the machine's control circuit to halt operations instantly upon detecting a missing or broken wire.

5. Production Process

The production workflow involves continuously feeding the warp wires through the automatic feeding mechanism. The shuttle carries the weft wire across the shed, and the dual-rod beat-up mechanism compacts the weave. The machine operates continuously, automatically managing the tension and spacing until a break is detected or the desired length is achieved.

6. Operation Methods
  • Setup: Load the selected wire material (e.g., galvanized or stainless steel) onto the creel and thread it through the automatic warp feeding system.
  • Parameter Adjustment: Adjust the mechanical settings to match the target mesh count and wire diameter.
  • Monitoring: Start the machine and monitor the automatic feeding and weaving process. The operator's primary role is to monitor the self-inspection system and manage wire splicing when the machine auto-stops due to a broken wire.
7. Precautions
  • Wire Tension: Ensure the warp wires are fed with consistent tension to prevent uneven mesh or premature breakage.
  • Breakage Response: When the self-inspection system triggers an automatic stop, do not bypass the sensor. Properly repair the broken wire before restarting to maintain mesh integrity.
  • Mechanical Maintenance: Regularly inspect and lubricate the dual-rod beat-up structure and the shuttle track to maintain the machine's stable mechanical performance and prevent excessive wear.
  • Safety: As with all shuttle-type weaving machines, operators must keep hands and loose clothing away from the moving shuttle and beat-up mechanisms during operation.
